A Private Pilot License (PPL) allows you to fly an aircraft on your own, anywhere in Nigeria, without needing prior authorization from an instructor.
You can also legally share the aircraft hiring cost with your passengers, however you cannot fly for hire or reward unless you have a commercial pilot license.
IHFS provides pilot training to applicants who are interested in becoming private pilots on part time basis. An average student will qualify for a private pilot license after approximately 55-60 Aircraft hours. If completing training on a part time basis, say 1 hour a week, this will take just over 12 months. Full time training will take about 3 months.
IHFS also provides pilot training to applicants who are aviation enthusiast. This flight Training is aimed at giving applicants flight experience.
Instrument flying gives a pilot the ability to cope with unstable weather conditions in which he/she might operate from time to time. The instrument rating is thus essential for both career and safety reasons.
It surely affords the holder of the rating more versatility than a non-instrument rated pilot. This ultimately makes the holder safer and more confident in the air.
